I’m so excited to be sharing my favourite images from nina and Jons amazing wedding on my blog today…! I met up with Nina and Jon back in February for their engagement shoot, using Godolphin house as the location. Nina has a love for romantic novels so being at Godolphin swept them straight into the pages of a Jane Austin book.
The wedding day soon came around and boy was I in for a treat!
First off I want to give you a feel for their wedding venue, The Polurrian Bay hotel. Perched on the cliffs of the lizard Peninsula overlooking the sea, the Polurrian is up there with one of my favourite wedding venues in Cornwall.
Nina had the most amazing dress designed by Molly Mishi May along with a handmade leather jacket and matching bag.
Nina’s stepfather Ian said there might be a Sea King in the area that morning and to keep a look out. So Nina slipped on her white brogues and sneaked outside! She was over the moon when she caught sight of the helicopter.
After a bit of James Bond trying to get Nina back into the hotel without Jon seeing her, the girls finished getting ready.
The ceremony was set up in the Vista lounge which has panoramic views of the coast. Nina look stunning as she walked up the isle towards Jon. We were spoilt for choice for backdrop locations, so after some fun group shots around the hotel grounds we took Nina and Jon down to Mullion Cove.
The sun was glistening off the sea as they walked around the harbour and we got some beautiful shots of them both. After the wedding breakfast and speeches Nina surprised Jon with a Burlesque dance! The bridesmaids were in on the act too, revealing the unzipping of the bottom of Ninas dress halfway through the dance, turning it into a wedding cocktail dress! After their first dance together the band kicked off the party!
Ok I’m just itching to share a few photos with you….
