Victoria Walker 1600x550 - Victoria

A little bit about me...

Here’s how I found my love for the ocean, nature, music, and most of all, my camera.

At the age of 17, after studying music for three years, I swapped my saxophone for my dad’s old Pentax 35 mm film camera and went on my first adventure to Australia, New Zealand and the Cook Islands.

When I returned home to St.Ives I started a Higher National Diploma course in Photography & Digital Media. Leaving with a distinction, I set up my Cornwall photography business.

I’ve now photographed over 300 weddings and worked for various companies around the globe. Photographs from my Wedding Photography in Cornwall have been published in numerous magazines including WED, Bride and Professional Digital Photographer magazine.

Travelling is my passion

I’m very fortunate to have worked and travelled all over the world.

Myself and my camera have had many adventures together. From visiting Bali and Morocco for fashion photo shoots to photographing the wildlife of Antarctica. Swimming with humpback whales in Tonga, Sperm whales in Dominica, blue whales in Sri Lanka, whale sharks in Baja Mexico, wading through lochs on the Isle of Skye photographing otters,  and more recently documenting the Marine Iguanas in Galapagos.

Over the years I’ve combined my love for the outdoors with my wedding and portrait photography. Now offering photoshoots in the ocean or drone photos from above. Continually pushing the boundaries of wedding and portrait photography, creating sentimental precious works of art.

Award Winning Photographer

I was awarded the distinction of winning the title of The Best Wedding Photographer in the UK 2017 in the UK Wedding Awards. I have also won the Cornish Brides ‘Wedding Photographer of the Year 2015′, Underwater photographer of the year 2019, along with having my photos of the Sri Lankan leopards published in National Geographic these

15 years ago I shot my first wedding in Cornwall and haven’t looked back. It’s a huge honour (and responsibility) to be asked to document the most important day in a couples’ life.

With such a dramatic coastline there are many beautiful locations for Wedding Photography in Cornwall. Working closely with many wedding venues in Cornwall I know all the best spots for your wedding photos.

Winning the UK Wedding Awards is a great achievement for me. Hearing all the wonderful comments from my clients gives me confidence that I’m providing a service which is appreciated.

Moving away from the traditional approach of wedding photography I shoot natural, creative and artistic photography. Aspiring to capture the true ambience of your wedding day and produce beautiful images that show you as a couple.

Cornwall is home...

When I’m not out with my camera you’re likely to find me kayaking around the Cornish coast on the lookout for dolphins and basking sharks, trying out a new recipe, planning my next adventure or spending time with my family.

My husband Johnny is a professional surfer and coach. He has won the British Champion and English Champion Title… so he likes to think he’s pretty good 😉

After 10 years of being together we got married outside by the sea at Prussia Cove in Cornwall.

We live in St.Ives with our little Netherland dwarf house bunnies, Pablo and Diego, who love to sit on my desk and distract me whilst I’m editing!

Along with Cornwall wedding photography, I  specialise in underwater photography, running trips to swim with blue sharks off the coast of Penzance.

I also offer family photoshoots in Cornwall. You can choose to have your photos taken by drone, in the sea or on land!

All my Photography services are available in Devon and Somerset, throughout the UK and overseas.
