Covid put a halt to many weddings last year but it didn’t stop Tanya and Sam!
Eloping in Cornwall has become increasingly popular this past year. So many couples deciding to ditch their big wedding plans and opting for something more intimate and personal.
Tanya and Sam were planning on eloping overseas, having to change their plans they settled on eloping to Cornwall.
Both are kite surfers and spend alot of their time in the sea, so it made sense to head for the Westcountry!
They chose to stay at the Scarlet hotel in Mawgan Porth and indulge in some Cornish luxury. Having already done the legal bit at a registry office, it allowed them to create their own ceremony wherever they wanted.
We decided to meet at Porthcothan beach and found the perfect little spot. It was made even more special as Tanya was 7 months pregnant at the time.
With the sand between their toes and the sound of the ocean lapping onto the shore, they said their vows…x
