The wedding was on, the wedding was off… on, off… Poor Jenny and Jack altered their wedding plans that many times, I think we all lost count! They decided they wanted to get married whatever, whether that be with 5o guests or 10.
I’m so pleased it all worked out for them. I’d been looking forward to their wedding for the past 2 years since they booked.
They both got ready at Carbis bay Hotel. Jenny had one of the beachfront cottages and Jack and his groomsmen were in one of the holiday houses in the valley.
They got married at the parish church in St.Ives where they had a really lovely service. Their dog, Bronty, sat by their side as they exchange wedding vows.
We went into the church gardens for a few family photos before heading off in the VW campervan for some photos.
Mans Head, is the headland at the far end of Porthmeor beach. It’s wonderful for photos and I knew this would be a perfect location for Jenny and Jack. They are both surfers and lifeguards, so the closer to the ocean the better!
The reception was beautiful. Even though everyone was spaced out in their family bubbles, it didn’t affect the wonderful atmosphere in the room.
The plan was for all the wedding guests to go paddle-boarding, but the waves were far too big, so everyone put on a wetsuit and had a play in the waves. I also put my wetsuit on, took my waterproof camera housing in and got amongst the fun!
